Anglican Development Services Eastern (ADSE) is the development arm of the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Dioceses of Machakos, Kitui, Makueni and Garrisa Diocesan Missionary Area. It plays a distinctive role in addressing the needs of the rural poor through facilitating them to adopt different poverty alleviating technologies for improved livelihoods.
The Anglican Board of Mission was established in 1850, by the bishops of the then Church of England in Australia. It was originally called the Australasian Board of Missions, and led by the bishops of the Church in Australia and New Zealand
